The NorneHunt Picatinny Sling Adapters are picatinny rails to be mounted using existing sling stud holes.
The adapters all have two holes - the intention being that users can try the system before drilling a second hole into the stock (two fixings are better than one). However if you do not wish to drill a second hole, one screw is strong enough to support your sling in the same way as your existing stud (as long as you use the correct screw and your stock is in normal condition).
We reccomend using the screw hole closest to the sling hole, thin 3M tape at the front of the adapter will prevent any slippage in the event that your screw becomes slightly loose, but the tape is not intended to be load bearing; the screw/nut you use in one hole is what is load bearing.
